Totem interclub hits Memorial and Kin Arenas this weekend

The Mile Zero Figure Skating Club will be hosting a total of 303 skaters from BC and Alberta for their Totem Interclub meet this weekend.

There are individual, pair and group events as well as Synchro teams competing.

Competition begins on the afternoon of Friday, Feb 8th at 12 pm and ends Sunday, Feb 10th at 1 pm.

A total of 19 judges are flying in for the competition.

“We will be utilizing both arenas so there is lots to come out and watch,” says Club president JuliAnne Sellmeyer.

“It takes a lot of time to organize as well as litany of volunteers to help everything run smoothly. A huge thank you to everyone.”
