Originally from DC, Tina Berge is an equine and canine therapist.
“I align their bodies with non-invasive therapy. Meaning I re-align their muscles energetically and physically by using tapping, kinesiology, cupping, energy work, and chakra balancing work,” Berge says.
“It is gratifying to be able to connect a owner with their horse at the same time.”
Berge currently lives in Grande Prairie and travels to a long list of clients being horses and dogs. As far as Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and BC year round seeing up to 82 horses in a week and a half, traveling up to 3,600 km in two weeks.
“Originally I worked as vet tech and a massage therapist, so I understand the mechanics,” Berge says.
"I do it for the wellbeing of the animal. Horses that do not move properly for example can’t pick up a lead, bucking, all the undesirable behaviours can stem from internal health.”
“My appointment was excellent, Tina is very knowledgable and I will be bringing my horse to her again,” owner Chelsie Chmelyk says.
Berge has been practicing for 17 years partaking in clinics showing stretches, meditation and tools for owners to help with their animals. She also speaks at pubic engagements with demonstrations, educates kids on horse health and hosts kids camps.
