Another meeting expected to take place in December to discuss if and when a 2020-2021 season will happen.

NPHL team managers and/or executive members met Tuesday for a discussion on the feasibility of a 2020-2021 NPHL season.

"Another meeting will take place in December to discuss if and when a 2020-2021 season will commence," he said.

"Building off of our momentum from last season, the Canucks are excited to contend for a Campbell Cup again, but want to ensure the safety of our players and fans through this difficult time. We will update everyone once a final decision is made on the NPHL season."

In March, NPHL Jack McAvoy postponed the NPHL final due to COVID-19, citing Hockey Canada and Alberta Hockey decisions.
