Senior Canucks win first game in home and home against FSJ Flyers

Ahead of the Christmas break, the Senior Canucks are wrapping things up with a home and home against the Fort St. John. The first game — in FSJ — went well, with the C’s taking it 5-1.

After one period, the two teams were tied 1-1, with Jason Higson scoring first.

However, four unanswered goals in the second and third periods — by John Wayne Howes, Kyler Krantz, Brett Norman, and Mike Lalonde — ensured the win.

Kenton White was solid in net, making 24 saves on 25 shots (.960 SV%). The C’s had the shot advantage with 30.

The second game of the pair goes in Dawson Creek this Saturday. Puck drop is 8:30 pm at Memorial Arena.
