Rylee Trenholm second in barrel racing, Jacob Gardner third in bull riding at Dawson Creek

The Finning Canada Pro Rodeo Tour portion of the Dawson Creek Stampede and Rodeo has come to an end, but two Peace Region riders are taking home a hefty cheque.

Barrel racer Rylee Trenholm of Chetwynd, who was 11th in the standings prior to Dawson Creek, finished second with a time of 16.025 seconds to win $2,057.58. She ran on Saturday, August 10.

Jacob Gardner, who came into the rodeo third in the bull riding standings, added to his total with a 84-point run on Sunday, August 11, to finish in third place. He won $1,534.23. 

Steer wrestlers Clayton Moore and Stephen Culling, as well as Hudson's Hope saddle bronc riders Jake Watson and Ricky Warren, all finished out of the money.
