2018/2019 Rodeo Team athlete update: Fallyn Mills

Last years Northern Lights College Rodeo Team had great sucess with athletes moving onto many things. Personal message from Fallyn Mills: My name is Fallyn Mills my hometown is Pink Mountain, BC, Canada. Last year I was a member of the Northern Lights College Rodeo Team, I qualified for the Canadian College Finals in the breakaway roping and the goat tying ending up third place in both and reserve high point cowgirl.

After the school year I went on to amateur rodeo for the summer in Canada competing in the breakaway roping, barrel racing and occasionally team roping. I am now studying at Gillette College in Gillette, WY, USA on a full ride rodeo scholarship pursuing an Associate’s of Applied Science Degree in Business.

I am competing in the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association for the Gillette College Pronghorns in breakaway roping, team roping and barrel racing and I plan to work towards my degree and rodeo with Gillette College for the next two years.

My advice for this year’s rodeo team is to find yourself a fuel sponsor as travelling is expensive and have fun but take it seriously and stay focused.
