Talk about a rebound game.
After two straight games in which they lost by more than four goals, the Dawson Creek Junior Canucks put up a 6-0 win at home against the Fairview Flyers Wednesday night.
It was the just the second shutout on the season for the Junior C’s — goaltender Conor Webb made 33 saves for his second shutout.
The first period started even enough, with neither team scoring, and the Flyers actually carrying the shot advantage 12-11.
Afterwards it was all Canucks.
Dustin Bahm got on the board first five minutes into the second, followed by Brandon Rowley, Hayden Dick, and Liam Craig.
Dick, playing his fourth game with the team notched his fourth point with the team and second goal of the game 1:19 into the third.
Dylan McCuaig would wrap things at six with a shorthanded tally with five minutes left on the clock.
DC outshot Fairview 42-33.
The Canucks play at home again in short order, returning to Memorial Arena for a matchup against the Sexsmith Vipers Friday at 8 pm.
