Local athlete Roxy Honing competed in the Top Gun winter classic senior games in January in Bullhead, Arizona.
The team placed 2nd with a silver medal to end a successful season with the demarini warrior sistas from the US.
Honing is currently training at in the Peace to get prepared tentatively for a Masters Championships in Abbotsford at the end of August with the Canadian Masters Fastball team.
Being that the regular ball season has been delayed for this year Honing hopes to move forward continuing to play for Canada and the US world teams in the up coming season. She would like to thank all sponsors for your support and patience during this challenging time that we are all experiencing.
