Facilities needed for BC Winter Games

Earlier this month city council members heard from Fort St. John BC winter games spokespersons Jennifer Moore and Darren Snider; requesting that alpine ski competitors have access to  the Kenn Borek swimming pool. All sporting competitors will be housed in elementary schools, and other housing where showers are not available. 

About 130 ski athletes and 16 coaches will be traveling and competing at Bear Mountain.

"Approximately 130 volunteers total will be needed in Dawson Creek for hosts, drivers, and security," says Moore.
