DCSS’ Adam Wangler had the best time in male 3000m with 10:25 and male 1500m with 4:53, while Victor Deschamps and Sarah Shoemaker had the top times in 60m hurdles.  Deschamps also had the best time in male 200m. DCSS’ Jenna Meszaros had the top time in female 800m.

“This particular event is great for the athletes to ask questions, get coaching tips, gain some experience in competition with others and to get a feel for what it’s like to run on a marked track,” says assistant coach Kathy Shoemaker.

“Attendance was up from last year which was great to see and all of the athletes had a great time in this warm up meet, in preparation for the upcoming season.”

Meets on the horizon include the Sub Zero meet in Prince George and the Peace Country Classic in Grande Prairie.
