Tumbler Ridge is hosting its annual Fall Festival this weekend with a variety of activities for all ages.
The day kicks off with a pancake breakfast at the Curling Rink.
Due to the spotty weather, may of the activities will be hosted indoors, including the exhibits.
There will be a pie of the year contest, where anyone can enter their homemade pies. Pies must be in the library at 11 am for 1pm judging and 3 pm silent auction. Two of each pie must be brought — one for judging and one to be auctioned off — and pies must be fruit pies (no meat, cheese, or cream cheese).
There will also be a bake off contest for children, with 2 to 5 year olds making rice krispie squares, 6 to 10 cookies, and 11 to 16 year olds make cake. Entries must also be submitted by 11 am.
A colouring contest will be had.
A free public swim goes from noon to 3 pm and 6:30 to 8:30 pm. There will also be food trucks throughout the day.
The day caps off with fireworks at Tumbler Ridge Secondary field at 9.
