Canada Day Tumbler Ridge style

It is a party on Canada Day - in a new way - for Tumbler Ridge Wednesday.

A virtual mayoral address and national anthem goes at 10:45am on the District of Tumbler Ridge Facebook page.

A Drive thru BBQ and cupcakes can be found at 340 Front Street at the Community Centre main entrance from 11 to 1pm. Surprise bags will be on hand for children and youth of the community.

Running from July 1st to July 15, the Tumbler Ridge Fishing Derby Photo Contest, at info@tumblerridgegeopark.ca will get those learning more about Tumbler Ridge and area even more.

There is a limit of one photo entry per person per day, regardless of the method of entry. The photo must include yourself, the fish you caught, and the lake/river you caught it in. Fish must be caught in the Lakes/Rivers located within the Tumbler Ridge Geopark.
