Yogi says hey, Boo-Boo, new Swan Lake bear trail

A new informational bear trail is set and ready for use in the forests of Swan Lake.

The Swan Lake Enhancement Society began work on the trail last year, with signage added this summer.

“Bears, moose, pelicans and more are featured with information for park users about staying safe,” says Janet Stevens with the group.

The project was approximately $20,000 with two thirds of the money raised locally. There are nine new signs in total.
