Snowfall warning in effect for South Peace

Heavy wet snow is expected tonight and tomorrow morning - and our weatherman Sky Hammer says to expect 10 cm of it.

"A Pacific low pressure system is forecast to move across the central interior tonight bringing snow to the region this evening," says Environment Canada.

The snow may be initially mixed with rain before intensifying later this evening. Accumulations will be generally near 10 cm but could exceed that amount over higher terrain, especially near Tumbler Ridge. The snow will end late Friday morning as the low moves into Alberta.
