RCMP say strong compliance over BC Day long weekend on roads, in water

Dawson Creek RCMP were out on the water, and the roads this  BC Day Long weekend.

"Several boats were checked for compliance to boating regulations and for impaired driving," said officials Saturday.

They noted boating enthusiasts passed any RCMP enforcement stops in the water, or on the way to bodies of water, in the Mile Zero area.

"It was great to see everyone having fun and being safe."

Prior to the long weekend, DC RCMP noted they would be both in the water, and on the roads for enforcement over the long weekend.
