Powder King closed for season

Powder King Mountain Resort officials made the decision Wednesday to close the ski hill resort for the season.

“Powder King has now decided to close. We made it official this morning,” said Hiedi Salisbury with the resort.

“Our office is open for questions only 1-866-769-5464,” she added.

A few were questioning the resort’s decision earlier in the week to stay open.

“I've been asked to run my bus up there but said no I could not live with myself if someone I took up there got sick,” noted one bu driver earlier this week.
