Hwy 97 closed south of the Pine Pass Summit

Two semi-trucks have collided on the Pine Pass and the road is closed until further notice.

“Earlier this afternoon south of Lemoray there was a collision that resulted in injuries, however not life threatening, “ said RCMP this afternoon.

A detour is not available. It is estimated the road will be closed until late Thursday evening and into Friday morning. Travellers are encouraged to check out drivebc.ca for updates to opening.
