Crime Stoppers is a program that empowers regular people to fight back against crime. Anyone can submit an anonymous tip by using our Tips Line or Web Tips, or the P3 Tips application for either an Android or iPhone.  If that tip leads to an arrest or charge, the Tipster, who submitted the information is eligible for a reward as approved by the local Crime Stoppers Board.

Tips to Crime Stoppers may not give police the evidence they require to arrest an individual but puts them on the right track to solve the crime.

Crimestoppers NE BC noted they have a new slogan going into the summer: Say It Here.

On the 7th of April 2010 after a successful contest,  the name,  Northeast BC Crime Stoppers, was chosen to reflect the new structure of the Crime Stoppers program in the northeast of British Columbia.  In choosing this name, we have followed the lead of other programs around the world who use a name that aptly describes where they live!  As a program that serves the communities of Chetwynd, Dawson Creek, Fort Nelson, Fort St. John, Hudson’s Hope and Tumbler Ridge, we truly do look after the corner known as Northeast BC!

Tips Received Since Inception: 4,653

Arrests Made: 297

Rewards Authorized: $37,350

Property Recovered: $982,963

Narcotics Recovered: $3,295,655
