Search warrants were executed in Pouce Coupe Thursday as well as at a rural residence located near Demmitt, Alberta.

The search warrants located several suspected stolen items which included a stolen snowmobile, multiple firearms; one of which was determined to be stolen, illicit drugs, and a large sum of Canadian currency believed to be proceeds of crime.

"One male was arrested and will be facing multiple charges relating to stolen property, identify fraud, illicit drug offences, and firearms offences."

This is one of several warrants executed by the Dawson Creek RCMP over the last year intended to address property crime and the distribution of illicit drugs throughout the South Peace region.
