Pouce Coupe’s new skate park should be open in time for two months of summer sun.

CAO Chris Leggett says the skate park should be functioning by July 1, weather permitting, with a spring 2019 construction schedule having been received by the village.

The Skate Park was budgeted at $350,000 for a rideable park and basic landscaping, of which $153,656.82 has been spent according to unaudited numbers.

Additional landscaping, a water fountain, and lighting for the facility will be reflected in this year’s Capital and Special project budget proposal slated to be presented at the February 6 council meeting.
