Pouce Coupe denies Hillcrest Motel a business licence

The Village of Pouce Coupe has denied Hillcrest Motel a business licence.

“We have sent out a notice to Hillcrest Motel declining to issue them a business licence for the activities happening over there,” says CAO Chris Leggett.

“We’ve made it clear to the property owner that he is not operating a legitimate hotel in any way, shape or form, so we’re not issuing him a business licence.”

Mayor Lorraine Michetti noted repeated police presence at the motel.
