Stronger than cancer - we stand together is the them of the dinner dance auction going June 1 at the Pouce Coupe Community Centre.
The evening is in hope of raising funds for Cheryl McLeod Cole - a single mom to 4 year old Ameliya. Cheryl has been diagnosed with Stage 4 gastric stomach cancer.
This is a form of cancer that has no cure.
“Over the last year, Cheryl has been through more than most of us can imagine. Her nature goes against asking others for help. For that reason we must do this for her,” says Sharona Supernault.
One of the organizers Tara Tom says Weaver Auctions will be on hand for some live auction action, while there are door prizes and dinner with each ticket.
“All of the monies raised from the event will go to Cheryl’s treatment,” says Tom.
The event starts at 5pm doors with Safe Ride Home Service on hand. June 1, 2019. For more information see ‘Stronger than cancer - we stand together with Cheryl’ on Facebook, or call 250-719-6028 for more details.
