RCMP confirmed Thursday it was discovered that someone had fired a round into the building of 4Evergreen Resources LP off of Highway 29N. Fortunately, no one was injured as the office was closed for the long weekend.

"This could have had a very different outcome had there been someone in the building," said A/Sgt. Jo Anne Ruppenthal, NCO I/c Chetwynd Detachment.

A truck was seen in the area at the time and is described as a darker coloured pick up truck with roof lights and a flat deck rear.

If you have any information on this matter, contact the Chetwynd RCMP 250-788-9221 or Crime Stoppers at 1-877-222-8477.
