The Chetwynd International Chainsaw Carving Championship has been put on hold for a year.
"It is with much trepidation and regret that the board of directors of the Chetwynd International Chainsaw Carving Championship Society has decided to cancel the 2020 competition,” noted event president Chris Larson today.
Organizers note that with meeting not an option to facilitate planning, the decision was made easier.
“Our goal as a board will be to take the current situation as an opportunity to bring an amazing competition to the 2021 year. Hopefully the date of June 10 to 13 2021 brings brighter days."
