Grande Prairie RCMP issue province-wide warrant for suspected mall shooter

Police in Grande Prairie are on the hunt for a 23-year-old man after a single shot was fired in the Prairie Mall Sept. 15, injuring three people.

RCMP issued a province-wide warrant for Liban Musse Sept. 19.

Musse is described as a five-foot-nine inches tall, black male weighing about 143 pounds. He was last seen with short, dark black hair and has brown eyes.

He is charged with one count reckless discharge of a firearm, discharge a firearm with intent, possessing a weapon dangerous to the public, carrying a concealed weapon, unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of a restricted firearm with ammunition.

Police consider Musse to be armed and dangerous and ask that citizens do not approach him.
