Health care communications are key, and we don’t have any

Dear Editor,

As a retired health care worker who has also seen the other side of the industry, as we all will sooner or later, I have spent over a year exploring why, in this techno age we do not have decent electronic communications in our health care system. But neither does anyone else!

My conversations have been with health authority management, physicians, health care workers, hospital administration, the MOH and a number of MLAs.

This topic is certainly under the radar, creates difficulty for citizens everywhere, and appears not to be a matter of urgency. The reason for that, I think, it is not a budget line item – except for me and other patients.

I am optimistic that you will publish my letter which is in the attached document,
