Kodiaks lose to Kings 5-3, host rematch tonight

The Dawson Creek Kodiaks played the first game of a home and home series against the County of Grande Prairie Kings last night on the road, losing 5-3.

The Dawson Creek Kodiaks played the first game of a home and home series against the County of Grande Prairie Kings last night on the road, losing 5-3. Despite outshooting the Kings 28-19, and holding 1-0 and 2-1 leads, the Kodiaks' goaltending let them down and the team couldn't hang on for their second win of the season. 

The scoring was spread out for the Kodiaks, with Jack Corr, Tighe Strauss, and Nolan Krane all recording a goal. 

The Kodiaks will look to get recenge on the Kings, the team directly above them in the standings, tonight at 8 p.m. at the Memorial Arena.
