A man wanted by DC RCMP for a month and a half has turned himself in – only to be released already pending court.
“Derrick Turner has turned himself into Dawson Creek RCMP and has been released for a future court date.”
Turner was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily injury, failing to stop for police, and leaving the scene of an accident after allegedly driving into Fitness 4 Life on April 5.
Turner turned himself into RCMP over the weekend – and has been released.
A warrant was issued at the time for Turner’s arrest and last month police were asking the public assistance in locating Turner.
