Survey work is in addition to, and follows work done in 2016.

In conjunction with the Senior’s Advocacy office – volunteers are wanted to solicit feedback and opinions from Dawson Creek seniors in care.

“It would be having conversations on everything from quality of life, to their day-to-day, to food, and more, getting their opinions and feedback,” says Emily Jurek regional engagement lead with the project. Jurek says the survey work is in addition to, and follows work done in 2016.

“We are looking to train people to survey the approximately 29,000 in care in the province.”

The commitment is 40 hours (including training) to be completed over a 6-8 week period. Volunteers will be reimbursed for pre-approved out-of-pocket expenses such as parking and mileage.
