A REVIEW and PHOTOS: Sawyer Brown live in Dawson Creek

The race was on - to a mission temple fireworks stand.

Sawyer Brown lit it up as headliners in Dawson Creek on Sunday night after Lonestar, Doc Walker, and George Canyon warmed up the the crowd.

"Sawyer Brown brings a polished and extremely tight live act, a little Gospel, some great covers, one of the most energetic frontmen in music, and a catalogue of their own hits for two shows," said Dawson Creek Mirror managing editor Rob Brown, who has seen them perform live in four different decades.

"Mark Miller is as good as Presley, Jagger, and Collins in the 80s. He's in very rare air."

Sawyer Brown got their start on Star Search - they're an original American idol.
