The 2022 tourism team

To help kick off tourism season in Dawson Creek and Tourism Week 2022 across Canada from May 29 to June 4 – we met up with the 2022 staff for our annual picture.

Staff for the year are – supervisor Kaylin Brinsky, coordinator Emily Morris, councillors Aiden Lorincz-Bowman and Miles Wolff, Manager Angela Keech, as well as councillors Debbie van Spronson, and Tionna Lenart.

Manager of Visitor Services Angela Keech says the staff is already busy with caravan bookings and more slated to head to the area in 2022.

The Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC) is the national private sector advocate for the tourism industry. TIAC takes action on behalf of Canadian tourism businesses and promotes positive measures that help the industry grow and prosper.

“When COVID-19 struck, the tourism industry was the first hit, hardest hit, and will be the last to recover,” say TIAC officials.

“We’re rolling out the welcome mat to both domestic and international travellers. After over two years of enduring the global pandemic, Canadians across the country are ready for visitors to explore our home and native land.”\
