The North Peace Navigators came to Mile Zero Friday to be outlclassed by the hometown Kodiaks to a tune of 5-2.
The opening period saw three Kodiaks goals bookended by a pair of Navigator tallies. Second and third periods saw the Kodiaks pot a goal each, including an empty-netter in the third.
The Kodiaks will play in Grande Prairie Saturday night, back on home ice Sunday to tangle with the La Crete Lumber Barons.
The Senior Canucks are at the Memorial Saturday night for a hometown tilt.
