Fear of job loss real - say freedom rally attendees

Traffic slows with horns of support.

Some Dawson Creek residents are at a professional fork in the road – stick to their principles and not get a vaccine, and face termination in the process.

One Dawson Creek nurse this afternoon says her professional future may be DOA.

“I’m looking at nursing positions in other provinces. We are being forced and coerced into this.”

“Where is the mayor – he is pro choice,” noted one attendee quoting Dale Bumstead's address last week rallying on the City of Dawson Creek lawn.

'Freedom!', 'No Health Pass', 'My Body My Choice' and more signs adorn Mile Zero circle this afternoon with more than 150 rally goers in attendance.

Horns and cheers are aplenty and traffic is slowed on all roads leading into the circle.
