Denny Poole community vigil and prayer set for Monday

A prayer service and community vigil for a youth missing since March 12 goes Monday in Dawson Creek.

The Kin Park Amphitheatre will host the event with a gathering at 2:45 pm and prayer at 3 pm. The afternoon will be led by Pastor Cory Lizotte

Family and friends are holding onto hope they'll get some good news soon. Police say Poole was last seen by a friend at around 7:30 p.m., March 12 near the Kiskatinaw Bridge. He was last seen wearing a grey DGK sweater (DGK lettering in red), with black jeans and Osiris running shoes. He was carrying a black backpack. Poole is a First Nations youth who is about 5 foot 7 inches tall, weighing between 120-130 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes.
