While Mother Nature kept the rain on - the running and community fundraising was hot this morning at Walter Wright Pioneer Village.
The village is the traditional end and beginning of the annual Deep Solstice Run - which this year brought in $3,150 for the non-profit group.
"We had just over 100 runners registered this year, 105," says Deep owner Jordana Anderson. Dawson Creek Co-op also chipped in with donations - $5 a runner.
To the weather - further medal ceremonies and results will be released later.
