Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies debate goes tonight

Tune in tonight at 7 p.m. as federal election candidates in Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies debate the issues facing constituents and Canadians at a virtual All Candidates Forum tonight in Fort St. John.

Seven candidates are running in this year’s election, including:

  • Bob Zimmer (Conservative)

  • Dave Jeffers (Maverick)

  • Cory Grizz Longley (NDP)

  • Ryan Dyck (People’s Party)

  • Catharine Kendall (Greens)

  • Amir Alavi (Liberal) 

  • Phil Hewkin (Canada’s Fourth Front)

The forum will be a chance for residents to get to know the candidates and where they stand on issues including the COVID-19 pandemic and healthcare, jobs and economic recovery, the environment, aboriginal reconciliation, foreign policy, and more.
