The power of 100 — plus, actually, with 150 members as of the charity draw — women donating $100 each to a local charity will be realized this Monday, when the 100 Women Who Care host their fifth annual event.

Three finalists have been chosen from numerous nominated charities, and each will give a presentation at the gala, for the 100-plus women to vote who to give their money to.

They aim to raise $10,000-plus for each organization, and are holding two events per year, resulting in $20,000-plus into the community.

The most recent winner from the South Peace Palliative Care will be updating the members on how April event’s funding helped their organization.

The event is hosted at the George Dawson Inn Banquet Room. Registration will occur between 6 and 6:55 pm, while the meeting will take place 7 to 8 pm.
