"We're all in this together," says Trudeau

Help for energy and the arts sector were announced Friday morning by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

"Our government will invest  $1.7 billion to clean up orphaned wells in western Canada," he said removal of these wells will maintain 5,200 jobs in Alberta.

"We want to make sure the pollute or pay principal is extended."

Trudeau spoke about an $750 million emission reduction fund.

"Right now many energy firms are experiencing cash crunches," he added 10,000 jobs would be maintained with the moves.

Trudeau also noted a new $500 million dollars for arts and sports sectors.
