Numerous tenants at the Sunridge apartment complex have come together to donate to the Salvation Army for Christmas to give back to the community.
With their angel tree displayed in the foyer, all of the building’s tenants contribute either canned goods (donated to the church) or wrapped toys.
One couple Stacey Botelho Turner and Steve Turner donated $500 worth of games and toys.
All of the donated items will be given to the Salvation Army in the second week of December.
“Has been hard times lately with most of the rigs down in the area with many people struggling, we are happy to help in a small way,” property manager Penny Smith says.
“We would like to challenge all other apartment buildings, complex’s, townhomes, and property management companies to do the same."
