Spring gravel removal for seniors and people with disabilities

The City of Dawson Creek is embarking on their volunteer based spring gravel removal for seniors program.

“The city is once again planning to assist seniors and persons with disabilities with removal of gravel accumulated from winter plowing and sanding efforts from boulevards adjacent to private property,” note officials.

“The timing of the removal will depend entirely on the spring thaw and availability of volunteers.”

If you require this service, they request you call CIty Hall at 250-784-3600 by Monday, April 15 to register your location.

They are looking for volunteers, as well, with interested non-profit groups up for an honorarium to do the service. Those interested are also requested to call City Hall by Monday, April 15.
