SPCRS discontinues Better at Home housekeeping and in-person volunteer services

Services involving direct contact with seniors have been discontinued as of Tuesday morning.

“Due to the evolving situation with the COVID-19 virus we have made the difficult decision to discontinue,” noted SPCRS executive director Angela Willmott today in a statement.

Until such time as the service can continue grocery shopping for seniors, snow removal and check-ins via phone will continue.

“The health of our clients, volunteers, staff and community are out top priority.”
