Soldiers will be saluted for month of November in downtown Dawson Creek

It is something that has been a tradition at the store in the heart of downtown Dawson Creek for the last six years now.

“It is an important time and we all need to remember,” says Wendy Mayer at the store, who has been working with The Roots Group each year on the display.

“I feel very honoured to do this each year,” Mayer added, noting this year a lack of ceremonies may bring more people by the store display.

The store’s Remembrance Day display will remain up until December 1.
