Report of shots fired in DC

Public risk is believed to be low.

Dawson Creek RCMP are looking for information after receiving a call of shots fired Wednesday night in  Mile Zero.

"On Wednesday, June 5th, 2019, at approximately 10:17 PM, the Dawson Creek RCMP received a report of shots fired near a residence located at 90th Ave and 8th St," says Cst. Jaime Flikweert.

It was reported that two shots were fired at the residence before a dark coloured SUV was witnessed leaving the area at a fast pace. 

The Dawson Creek RCMP are looking for assistance in identifying the vehicle of interest in the attached photos and any possibly occupants. 

It is believed this is a targeted event and the risk to the public is low.
