Philippine consul visits Mile Zero

Arlene Magno, Philippine Consul was in Mile Zero over the weekend to help residents with citizenship applications, as well as passport renewals.

“We attempt to bring services to northern BC a few times a year to help larger families avoid travelling down to our office in Vancouver,” she says.

The consul office helps voters in home country elections as well. The office saw more than 60 passport applications on Saturday, and more than 140 appointments during their day long session at the GDI on Saturday.
