“The response was incredible!  60 plus members each received a uniquely wrapped gift and a gift card from Santa, as well as a couple fantastic door prizes,” notes OOO coordinator Tammy Lockhart.

On Our Own is part of a non-profit society- D.C. Mental Health Consumer Support Society, which is funded by Northern Health, and run by M.H. Consumers.

OOO is open 365 days a year, and provides free meals, peer support, work reintegration, and a stigma free environment  for members to safely participate in.

“We wish to thank each and every organization, business and individual that helped make their Christmas so very special this year,” adds Lockhart.
