Head over to Newby Park and look for poop bags and potentially a Kindness Meter, because Mile Zero has a temporary dog park.
Kalen Roblee and Stephanie Anne Warren-Patterson were in attendance Monday to update DC city council on the project and proposal - a temp dog park until a more permanent one is created near the new SPCA in Mile Zero.
Roblee noted noon profit society members went door to door and received mostly positive responses from the neighborhood residents.
“Insurance companies have noted they are willing to partner with us,” said Warren-Patterson.
Coun. Amy Kaempf noted the location would certainly be temporary as a more permanent one is expected closer to the new SPCA location.
