Nawican offering meals to go on Aboriginal Day

Nawican Friendship Centre is looking to get people fed on June 21 Aboriginal Day - but want people to stay safe at the same time.

"June 21 is National Aboriginal Day! Help us celebrate this year by getting a meal to go or delivery," note organizers.

"will be ready at the doors of the Nawican 12-2 pm. Delivery is between 12-2 as well.

If you sign up for a meal or delivery your name will be entered into a draw for one of the many prizes to be given away. Sign up is now until Saturday June 20.

Organizers encourage those interested not to post their home addresses public on Facebook.

"Do not post your address on the post! Safety first."

Nawican is located at 1320 102 Ave. Hours are 9-2pm Monday to Friday and 10-2 Saturday. Please call the Centre 250-782-5202.
