A pair of women with Dawson Creek roots are in the midst of another round of Maxim magazine voting.
Both Jenniger Mollinga (Nguyen) and Lou Potter are hoping Mile Zero and the Peace region have their backs.
More than 2,000 women from across Canada originally were in the running for votes in the magazine’s cover girl competition, which promises a $10,000 cash prize and a featured spread in Maxim Magazine.
Potter says she continues to be blown away by support.
“It’s been amazing.”
Nguyen says should she win the $10,000 prize she will be donating it to help friends the Bohdanowicz family dealing with an inoperable bile duct cancer diagnosis.
“They went through some tough times in 2016 and I took them into my home. During the six months they lived with me, I learned so much from these amazing people. How to stay strong during hardships, to be grateful for the things you have and not what you don’t,” she says.

Voting ends for this round Thursday the 30th of May at 11PM EDT.
