Mile Zero Air Cadets want more people in the sky

The 353 Mile Zero Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron is looking for new members to join their rank and file.

The squadron is recruiting for their upcoming 2018-2019 training year. The first training night will be Sept. 11, from 6:15pm until 9:30pm at the Northern Lights College. Registration will take place in Building 12.

Those new to the corps must have; a valid birth certificate and a provincial health number - must be able to provide a copy, be a Canadian citizen or have appropriate documentation, be 12-18 years of age.

“Youth who are interested, but won't be 12 until, no later than January 31st, 2018, are welcome to come check it out, but cannot enrol until their actual birthday due to insurance purposes,” says Captain Kimberly Shipton, Commanding Officer.
