Midweek snow risk for the area

Northeast could be getting white. Perhaps 20 cm.

"Tuesday night through Thursday a plume of Pacific moisture will push eastward across the Interior and through northeastern BC; and northern Alberta."

Officials add a strong area of high pressure will gradually push southward pumping down some Arctic air, which will undercut the Pacific moisture surging eastward.

This setup will bring the potential for snowfall Tuesday through Thursday across the above-mentioned regions. Some of these regions may even see some significant accumulations.

"The most significant accumulations, for now, are expected to be across the Grande Prairie and Peace River regions "
